WhatsApp Launches HD Photos Feature: Here’s How to Use It
Published on

WhatsApp users can choose to Send Photos in either Standard or high Quality for Each Photo

A new function that lets users share HD-quality photos has been revealed by WhatsApp. CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg made this update public. The HD photographs are encrypted from beginning to end, just as WhatsApp messages, audio, and other shareable forms. The HD video-sharing capability will be made available soon by the Meta-owned company.

Users can now select to upgrade each photo they send to HD, even if Standard Quality is still the default setting for transmitting images. With limited bandwidth connectivity, this makes sure that sharing photographs over WhatsApp is still quick and secure. Over the following weeks, the HD photos feature will be made available everywhere, and HD Videos will follow. Make sure your WhatsApp program is updated if you want to receive the new update.

How Does It Function?

The majority of the steps involved in sharing HD photos are unchanged. There will be an additional step to send an image in HD quality as opposed to standard quality. You must first tap the share image option before selecting the HD image you want to share. An "HD" option will then show up at the top-center of the screen after selecting it. Hit that. The option to choose between high quality and ordinary quality will then show up. All that's left to do is press the share button.

WhatsApp is Developing Its First AI Function

A new generative AI function that will give WhatsApp some image-generating skills is apparently under development. AI-generated stickers are being developed by the Meta-owned business. The function will let users enter a brief question to generate a list of stickers from which they can select one. The platform that records beta features, WABetaInfo, published a screenshot of the latest addition.
