The Shiba Inu metaverse is called SHIB: The Metaverse. In early May, developers behind the metaverse took to Twitter to announce that Shiba Inu could finally be used to mint parcels of land – alongside Ethereum (ETH).
EverGrow Coin meanwhile has partnered up with the first metaverse to cloud-stream virtual reality games. This makes them accessible to VR headset users at home without additional computing power.
The EverGrow Coin partnership with The Abstract metaverse is exciting for two reasons. Firstly, The Abstract will allow VR headset users to access high-quality games from home without expensive computing power (often upwards of $5,000). Secondly, with an estimated 50 million VR headset owners in the United States alone The Abstract could bring thousands of newcomers into crypto.
EverGrow Coin will be the native token and fuel of The Abstract. Alongside play-to-earn games on The Abstract metaverse arcade, developers are working on a virtual crypto exchange (which looks like a bank), and NFT marketplace (which looks like an art gallery), and a content subscription platform that will function as a virtual hangout.
The Abstract has a waiting list close to over 20,000 and is expected to launch its minimum viable product over the summer this 2022. The EverGrow Coin integration will come later on before the end of the year.

In early May, Shiba Inu developers announced that SHIB could finally be used to mint parcels of land in SHIB: The Metaverse.
Previously only Ether (ETH) could buy you land in the Shiba Inu metaverse. But as of May 4, you can use the Shiba Inu equivalent of 0.2 ETH, 0.3 ETH, 0.5 ETH, or 1 ETH to mint different pieces of land.
There are 100,595 different land NFTs available in SHIB: The Metaverse. Shiba Inu investors can generate passive income, gather in-game resources, and generate further rewards in the metaverse – exactly how will be announced in a further update.
Only 36,431 plots of land were unlocked on April 13 in the first Shiba Inu metaverse sale.
