Subscribers to ChatGPT Plus had access to this function, which allowed the chatbot to conduct a Bing search for recent data to broaden its understanding. OpenAI’s official statement states, “We have found that the ‘ChatGPT Browse with Bing’ beta could occasionally display content in ways that don’t align with our intent.” There have been situations where the functionality unintentionally fulfilled a request for the complete text of a URL, for example.

Over 150 significant layoffs this year have resulted in more than 194,000 job losses in the United States.
