Top Jobs That GPT-4 Would Replace?

After ChatGPT it is now GPT-4, which is ready to replace some jobs for humans

It is no surprise that Artificial Intelligence is capable of removing many jobs. The article enlists jobs that GPT-4 would replace as asked by one Twitter user to GPT itself. OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT defines GPT-4 as the latest milestone in OpenAI's effort in scaling up deep learning. GPT-4 is a large multimodal model (accepting image and text inputs, emitting text outputs) that, while less capable than humans in many real-world scenarios, exhibits human-level performance on various professional and academic benchmarks.

A Twitter user named Prashanth Rangaswamy asked GPT-4 to provide a list of 20 tasks it might take the place of and ranked them according to how simple it would be for the ChatGPT to do so. The positions on the list include travel agent, recruiter, technical support analyst, news reporter, market research analyst, copywriter, transcriptionist, tutor, bookkeeper, telemarketer, paralegal, and data entry clerk. They also include virtual assistants, translators, social media managers, email marketers, proofreaders, content moderators, and recruiters.

GPT-4 not only listed the occupations it could take over, but also specified particular human traits that it could emulate in these jobs, like linguistic fluency, critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving. For instance, it can be extremely quick and accurate, communicate and comprehend others' emotions, pay attention to minute details, conduct research and organize information, be proficient in multiple languages and numbers, be creative and effective in writing, analyze data, and manage time effectively. The chatbot will still have a very tough time comprehending subtle human emotions.
