Though the placement interviews will be held only in the final they will hold interviews for internships with corresponding exams.

Course Requirements:

  • Should have passed Higher Secondary examination (10+2 pattern) or appeared in the Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent in the current year with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry as major subjects.
  • Candidates must quality SRMJEE(UG)/JEE entrance exam
2. M.Tech in Robotics and Mechatronics -IIT Kanpur:

With a 100% placement record, it is considered the best college in after-course placements. The companies start visiting the campus right from the 7th semester onwards. Around 80% choose their employers, who are top-notch MNCs, even before reaching their final semester.

Course Requirements:

  • Admission to M.Tech and MS courses is based on the merit of the students in the GATE Examination. Admission to the MBA courses is based on the CAT score. A valid score in JAM and CEED score is required for the M.Sc and M.Design programs respectively.
  • Final admission to these programs is granted on the basis of counseling and an interview
3. M.Tech in Industrial Automation and Robotics – MIT Manipal:

MIT Manipal sees around 500 companies, and 300+ recruitment teams visit the college annually. According to MIT Manipal placement report (data taken from NIRF report) for 2019-20, the median salary for students from MIT Manipal was around Rs 8 Lakhs.

Course Requirements:

  • Pass in BE / BTech in a relevant branch from a recognized University, with a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks or equivalent 
  • Weightage will be given to GATE-qualified applicants
4. BE in Robotics and Automation Engineering – PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore:

A specially constituted team conducts workshops, seminars, and aptitude training to skill students in interview etiquette. In BE stream, PSG college witnesses around 96% in student placement which is the highest among all other streams.

Course Requirements:

  • A pass in the HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry

Course requirements:

  • Class 10 aggregate of at least 60% with subjects Maths, Physics, Science, and Social Sciences
  • Valid JEE Main/BITSAT/SAT/NEET/Any State Engineering Entrance Examination Rank/Score.
  • For applicants not having any of the above scores, the NUAT will be mandatory.
  • Applicants having valid JEE Main/BITSAT/SAT/NEET/any State Engineering Entrance Examination Rank/score are strongly recommended to take NUAT and the better of the two scores (second being NUAT) will be considered
6. B.Tech in Mechatronics – Jain University:

On par with Central Universities and IITs, their placement record is noteworthy. In 2021, the highest CTC stood at 14 LPA with the average standing at 4.96 LPA. The placement process starts right in the 5th semester, and by the end of the drive, nearly 80% get recruited to top MNCs like Yahoo, Amazon, Flipkart, Google, and Mahindra.

  • Candidate should have marks in PUC/10+2 examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the chemistry/computer science /Electronics/ and must have secured 60% marks (55% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together
  • Candidates are required to qualify JET/Uni-Guage exam to seek admission to the course
7. B.Tech in Robotics Engineering – Trivendrum College of Engineering:

It is a top engineering college recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education. It holds a reasonably good record in on-campus placements. It's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) prepares its students to train them for a smooth sail through the interview process.

Course requirements:

  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies
  • Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together
  • OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted

8. B.Tech Mechatronics Engineering – University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun:

Though the placement record falls in the average category, some of the college's flagship branches such as APE Upstream, APE Gas, ADE, and HSE attract a good number of recruiters. Around 80% of their students get placement offers during the drive.

  • Minimum 50% marks in Classes X & XII

Osmani University holds a pretty decent record in placements. With the highest salary around 20 lakhs per annum, it boasts around 90% of student placements. The University's placement and training cell, The UCE Hyderabad Placement, and Training Office consists of a team of members and volunteers led by a placement officer who is responsible for planning, organising, and coordinating all activities in the University College of Engineering, Osmania University Hyderabad Placements process. 

Course requirements:

  • B.E/B.Tech/ of any Recognized University in the concerned discipline, or it's equivalent
  • AMIE / AMIETE or similar qualifications recognized as equivalent to B.E / B.Tech
  • For M.E. in the Departments. B.E. /B.Tech. /AMIE / AMIETE Degree in the concerned discipline or its equivalent from any recognized University
  • For M.Tech in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering: B.E./B.Tech./AMIE/AMIETE in any branch of Engg./Tech., equivalent Masters Degree, in Physics, Statistics, Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Applied Physics, Geophysics, M.Sc. (Comp. Science.), M.Sc. (Information Systems), (Computer Applications and Electronics) and MCA from any recognized University
  • Minimum of one year experience, as of 30th June, reckoned from the date of a qualifying degree from a recognized University
  • Admissions to all programs will be based on the performance of the entrance test. Candidates who secure a minimum of 36% marks in the Entrance Test under the General and Backward Class category and 15% marks under the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Category will be considered for admission. In case of a tie at the entrance test, the date of birth will be considered and the older candidate will be considered for admission first
10. B.Tech in Robotics and Automation – Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore:

Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS), Coimbatore is provided to the final year students. Recently, it has reached a peak level of 80% in student recruitment. The university's placement cell gives attention on an individual basis.

Course requirements:

  • A pass in +2 with 50 % marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotech / Biology / Technical Vocational subject / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies
  • A Pass in 10+2 Vocational stream (with the subjects General Machinist, Electrical machines and Appliances, Electronic Equipments, Draughtsman Civil, Auto Mechanic, Textile Technology, etc.) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with minimum average percentage put together 50%.
  • The admission process is based on Karunya Entrance Examination (KEE-2020) only for B.Tech and Higher Secondary Score
