Big tech leaders are pouring in their final tribute to Queen Elizabeth II

After becoming the Queen, at the age of 25, Her Majesty became quite popular for demonstrating maturity, character, determination, elegance, and commitment during her reign. Her famous speech on her 21st birthday indicated that Her Majesty was driven to unite her nation and make the UK, the greatest nation in the world. The speech was written in a simple way so that everybody watching or listening could understand and feel it, making it one of the most powerful speeches of all time. Queen Elizabeth might have been the longest-reigning monarch in British history, but she has always been quite adept and enthusiastic about adopting the emerging developments in the world, including technology and big tech.

Apparently, the Queen is more tech-savvy than we might have imagined and has been an advocate of adopting emerging technologies, throughout her reign. Initially, in 1953, the Queen's coronation was the first ever royal ceremony to be televised, she was also an early adopter of the internet. In 1976, she sent her first email while visiting the Royal signals radar establishment in Malvern, England. She even visited tech headquarters like Google, recorded one of her Christmas speeches in 3D, and was also quite well-versed with the Twitterverse. Technology leaders have always received the support of the Queen and after her demise, big tech leaders from all over the world have been pouring in their condolences and final respects for the mighty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Apple CEO, Tim Cook, tweeted, along with a gorgeous picture of the Queen that:

"There is nothing nobler than to devote your life to the service of others. We stand with the people of the UK and Commonwealth in honoring the life and dedication to duty of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. May she rest in peace."

Tech billionaire and Microsoft Founder, Bill Gates denoted:

"I feel honored to have met HM Queen Elizabeth, and I am very sad to hear of her passing. My deepest condolences to the Royal Family and the British people."

Meta's Global Affairs President, Nick Clegg said:

"Queen Elizabeth's stoicism and sense of duty was a calming and stabilizing influence throughout the ups and downs of many tumultuous decades, and her devotion to the people of the UK and the Commonwealth was unconditional."

Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos tweeted:

"I can think of no one who better personified duty. My deepest condolences to all the Brits mourning her passing today."
