Realme to Unveil Flagship Smartphone, GT 7 Pro

Realme is gearing up to introduce its new flagship smartphone, the GT 7 Pro.

The device is listed with the model number RMX5011 on the certification.

The Realme GT 7 Pro is set to boast a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that delivers a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. 

It will mark Realme's first phone to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on the screen.

The smartphone is equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. 

Its rear camera is designed to include an OIS-compatible 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom.

The GT 7 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, along with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. 

It may also include a large 6,500mAh battery, capable of fast charging at 120W.

Realme  GT 7 Pro Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Achieves Impressive AnTuTu Score

Qualcomm is set to unveil the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Recently, performance details of this upcoming chipset have surfaced online. 

A benchmark test for the rumoured Realme GT 7 Pro has shown that the Snapdragon 8 Elite could offer a substantial speed improvement compared to its predecessor.

This phone has been reported to score an impressive 3,025,991 in the AnTuTu benchmark test. It is expected to be one of the first to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will be officially unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit on October 21.

There has been a comparison between the Realme GT 7 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which received a lower score of 1,651,728. 

The iPhone 16 Pro Max was launched last month and comes with the A18 Pro chip, which is considered the most powerful smartphone processor available. 

However, it's worth mentioning that the benchmarking tool uses different technologies for Android and iOS, which might impact the comparison between the two devices.

Top Indian IT Companies Saw a 0.96% Drop in Hiring in Q2

The combined headcount of the 6 top Indian IT companies saw a drop of 0.96% year-on-year in the Q2 of the current fiscal. However,  fresher hiring picked up, resulting in a 1.12% sequential growth in the same period.  

For the September quarter, the combined workforce of TCS, Wipro, HCLTech, TEchM, Infosys, and LTIMindtree stood at 16,22,007, a drop of 15,724 from the previous year.

Over time, the workforce grew by 1,950 employees, showing signs of recovery, but experts predict that hiring will remain slow for the rest of the year.

TCS, TechM, and LTIMindtree saw an increase in their employee numbers from the previous year, whereas Wipro and Infosys experienced a decrease. 

HCLTech was the only firm to see a drop in both annual and sequential decline in headcount in Q2FY25.
