The social networking app, Zoom has now added more AI options to its app by releasing an array of custom avatars and an advanced form of AI Companion. In the coming weeks, users will be able to record a video of themselves, and Zoom’s AI will then use that video input to generate avatars that can be used when sending video messages via the app’s Clips feature.
These avatars are in harmony with audio created from transcriptions and the risk of deep fakes has been mitigated thoroughly. Furthermore, the new-generation AI Companion of Zoom enables follow-up suggestions, and context additions, as well as compatibility with other applications. Although a customized add-on for AI Companion costs extra, the paid members without this app can make clips using preset AI models.
