Together, the articles make it quite clear that the company wants to make significant changes to the way its search engine works.
Additionally, it's significant that Amazon has only recently debuted its very own "Bedrock" foundational models for artificial intelligence (AI). Bedrock was developed as a "serverless" artificial intelligence service that would let users build custom ChatGPT-style models.
Amazon also introduced Titan, their internal chatbot service, along with Bedrock. According to Bratin Saha, vice president of the firm, who spoke with reporters about the topic, Amazon has been using "a fine-tuned version" of Titan to display search results on the company's homepage. Whether or if this is related to the most recent job ads is unknown. Amazon was asked for more details, but the corporation took some time to respond.
