During the live proceedings of the Constitution Bench hearing on the Maharashtra political controversy, the AI-based transcript engine was used to translate court arguments into text. Technology Enabled Resolution (TERES) was founded by Vikas Mahendra, his brother Vinay Mahendra, and Badarivishal Kinhal, all of whom hail from Bangalore. The trio's artificial intelligence system assisted the judiciary in publishing the hearing's transcript by evening that same day. Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of Law and Justice, congratulated the Chief Justice of India for utilizing AI for the first time in the judiciary. Due to its strategy of establishing a legal transcription to kick off the modernization of the judiciary, the pilot project received support from legal experts. By ensuring that the statements are accurately recorded, will also aid in increasing accountability and fostering transparency.
