The BSE Sensex trades at 81,785.91 showing a gain of 0.54% or 436.36 points and has moved between 81,230.44 and 81,815.27 so far today. The Nifty Bank index is also performing well up 0.89% or 455.75 points at 51,876.00 and with a day range of 51,260.05 to 51,957.75 so far.
The market uptrend is supported by positive Q1 FY24-25 earnings results with 646 out of 4,585 companies reporting so far. The overall revenue growth year-over-year stands at 12.71% while net profit has increased by 5.02%. Today, 85 companies are scheduled to release their earnings reports.
