Indian stock markets are soaring to new heights today with the BSE Sensex crossing the 82,000 mark and the Nifty50 surpassing 25,000 for the first time. As of now the Nifty 50 is trading at 24,994.50 up 0.17% or 43.35 points and with a day range of 24,964.35 to 25,078.30
The BSE Sensex is at 81,823.24 rising 0.10% or 81.90 point and ranging between 81,726.40 to 82,129.49 today. The Nifty Bank index is also showing strength at 51,698.60 up 0.28% or 145.20 points and with a day range of 51,580.85 - 51,877.15.
The overall market sentiment remains bullish, with the indices consistently breaking higher highs. Bullish trend looks set to continue unless the Nifty 50 closes below 24,074 and the Sensex below 79,223. Today, 80 companies are releasing their earnings reports adding to the 842 out of 4,433 companies that have already reported for Q1 FY24-25. So far, the aggregate revenue growth year-over-year stands at 11.87% while net profit growth is at 0.71%.
