OnePlus has proposed the launch date of its upcoming budget smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite. In a teaser picture posted on X, OnePlus said the Nord CE 4 Lite may launch in India on June 18 at 7 p.m.
Nord CE 4 made its debut a couple of months back in India. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite was conspicuously missing from the lineup. OnePlus hasn't revealed any details about the Nord CE 4 Lite, but rumors recommend that the phone may be a rebranded version of the Oppo K12x, which was launched in China prior to this year.
If that does turn out to be genuine, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite might highlight a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a crest brightness of 1200 nits.
The CE 4 Lite might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and matched with the Adreno 619 GPU for design-intensive errands. The Phone may come with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 capacity.
In terms of optics, the CE 4 Lite might come with a double camera setup on the back, with a 50MP essential sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Additionally, it could include a 16MP front-facing shooter for taking selfies and attending video calls.
The phone is likely to come with a 5,500mAh battery pack with support for 80W SuperVOOC quick charging. It might run on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14.
The Oppo K12x started at US$179 in China and went up to US$248 for the top-of-the-range model. At this cost, the CE 4 Lite is more or less in the same fragment as its forerunner.
However, note that this is not the official cost for the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite. The price will be reported after its launch in India.
