Skill-based gaming platform Zupee has announced its tie-up with the government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).
Under the partnership, millions of Indian users will experience culturally relevant games like Ludo by Zupee, through the neutral and democratized digital commerce platform- ONDC.
This makes Zupee the first seller on ONDC, and its skill-based games will be easily accessible to users. This brings forth games for the masses while learning skills with gaming.
Zupee's co-founder and CEO, Dilsher Singh Malhi, expressed his enthusiasm, "We are delighted to partner with ONDC. This collaboration strengthens our efforts to bring the joy of playing culturally relevant Indian games, responsibly, to a larger audience." The tie-up helps bring on more customers and will also bring immense value to users across India.
T. Koshy, managing director and CEO of ONDC, commented on the partnership, "Zupee’s integration on ONDC Network will not only facilitate offering value entertainment to a larger user base but also provide them with access to a wider range of products and services."
ONDC is expanding its services across different sectors, this partnership would form a part of its larger objective to become a unified platform for all digital transactions within India. This is a part of the company’s diversification move which has recently inducted EaseMyTrip's newer marketplace ScanMyTrip. ONDC will also soon introduce financial services such as insurance and mutual funds.
