OnePlus has officially unveiled its latest operating system, OxygenOS 15, aiming to redefine the smartphone experience with a focus on speed, intelligence, and personalisation. Building on its "Never Settle" brand philosophy, the company has introduced several key features designed to enhance user engagement and performance.
OxygenOS 15 introduces a revolutionary technology known as Parallel Processing, which ensures seamless app switching and a consistently smooth user experience, even during heavy usage. This feature significantly reduces the system storage footprint, allowing users to enjoy more space for apps and files.
The new operating system integrates advanced AI functionalities that enhance photography, search, and note-taking capabilities. Features such as AI Detail Boost transform low-resolution images into stunning 4K visuals, while AI Unblur and AI Reflection Eraser help rectify blurry images and remove unwanted reflections. Additionally, OxygenOS 15 includes integration with Google Gemini, a powerful AI assistant designed to assist users with writing, planning, and learning.
OxygenOS 15 boasts a refreshed visual style, complete with new animations, icons, and customisation options that reflect OnePlus's unique identity. The OS also prioritises user privacy, incorporating robust security measures to protect personal data.
The open beta version of OxygenOS 15 will be available for the OnePlus 12 5G starting October 30. OnePlus also plans to roll out AI features to more devices by the end of November, with the Google Gemini app set to be integrated as the default AI assistant on future flagship devices.
Arthur Lam, director of OxygenOS product, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, "With OxygenOS 15, we've pushed the boundaries of what's possible in smartphone software. We're excited to bring this powerful and innovative OS to our users, delivering a truly exceptional experience."
With these enhancements, OnePlus aims to elevate the smartphone experience, keeping its users at the forefront of technology and innovation.
