The OnePlus 13 launch in China is near, and the company has decided to reveal some hints about new upgrades in their smartphone at this crucial time.
In a Weibo post, OnePlus China head Louis Lee mentioned that OnePlus 13 users will be able to purchase ‘wood grain phone cases’ with support for ‘magnetic suction,’.
‘Magnetic suction," may be considered as a hint towards wireless charging support for the OnePlus 12’s successor. This technology might work with multiple accessories including car mounts and wallet cases.
Rumors also suggest that the OnePlus 13 may come with a battery capacity of 6,000mAh paired with 100W wired fast charging.
This is quite a hike from the OnePlus 12 batteries that come in limited capacities at 5,400mAh paired with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. This means longer usage times, and quicker recharge capabilities, especially for power users.
The new upcoming smartphone is expected to sport a 6.82-inch 2K 10-bit LTPO BOE X2 micro quad curved OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Thereby, users can expect an effortlessly fluid and vibrant visual experience.
Further, this device may be propelled by Qualcomm's all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which will support up to 24 GB of RAM, along with inbuilt storage of up to 1 TB.
If you are a photography enthusiast, you'll love the triple rear camera system on OnePlus 13. The cameras will feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom.
More upgrades are expected to be released soon making OnePlus 13 worth the wait over its predecessors.
