Apple is rumored to be gearing up for a major announcement, where it is expected to unveil its latest generation of Macs. Ahead of this highly anticipated launch, a leaked video featuring an unboxing of the new 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M4 processor has surfaced online.

The video, initially posted by Russian tech channel Wylsacom, which was later reshared on X by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman sparking widespread excitement and speculation.

The video leak aligns with earlier reports from prominent leakster ShrimpApplePro, who in late September hinted at the imminent arrival of the new MacBook Pro models.  From studying the packaging that appeared in the video, the additional new 14-inch MacBook Pro will also come along with Apple’s M4 chip, 16GB of memory and 512GB storage. This model is expected to have a number of high speed ports including three Thunderbolt 4 ports, SD card, HDMI port and MagSafe charging.

As for the new M4 chip, the packaging indicates that it will come with a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, promising significant improvements in performance.

According to the alleged Geekbench 6 benchmark scores revealed in the video, the M4 chip could be up to 25% faster than its predecessor, the M3 chip, both in terms of CPU and GPU power. This speed boost is likely to make the M4 MacBook Pro one of the most powerful laptops on the market, ideal for professionals handling intensive tasks like video editing, 3D rendering, and machine learning applications.

In addition to hardware enhancements, the leaked video reveals that the 14-inch MacBook Pro will be available in a new Space Black color, alongside the standard color options. Space Black is expected to be a popular choice, offering a sleek and modern aesthetic for Apple fans who want a bold yet professional look.

In related news, Apple’s highly anticipated iOS 18.1 update may see a slight delay. Originally expected earlier in October, the rollout has reportedly been pushed back to October 28, 2024, as Apple fine-tunes the software. According to Gurman’s  newsletter, this delay is intended to ensure the stability of Apple’s AI cloud servers, which are expected to handle a significant increase in traffic from users of the new Apple Intelligence suite included in iOS 18.1.

This cautious approach highlights how critical the Apple Intelligence update is to the company’s broader strategy. With the new AI-driven features, Apple aims to provide users with smarter, more personalized experiences across its entire ecosystem of devices.

As anticipation builds for both the M4 MacBook Pro and the iOS 18.1 release, Apple enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the company’s next big event. If the leaked video is any indication, the new MacBook Pro will deliver substantial upgrades, making it a must-have for professionals and tech enthusiasts alike.
