Microsoft has announced a new AI-powered tool called Microsoft 365 Copilot

Microsoft 365 Copilot is a new AI-powered tool that combines the power of large language models with business data and Microsoft 365 apps to boost creativity, productivity, and skills. It is currently being tested with a select group of business clients. The majority of Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, will be integrated with the functionality of a large language model modeled after ChatGPT.

There are two ways Microsoft 365 Copilot will be used by customers. First and foremost, it will be incorporated into the Microsoft 365 applications that everyday users use, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Furthermore, there will be another experience called Business Visit which works across the enormous language model and Microsoft 365 applications.

Business Chat can generate a status update based on meetings, emails, and chat threads with natural language prompts like "tell my team how we updated the product strategy." The customer has complete control over what they keep and what they throw away.

Word's Copilot feature lets users collaborate on writing, editing, and summarizing. Natural language commands can transform concepts into a designed presentation in PowerPoint. It can help unlock insights and produce data visualizations with a professional appearance in Excel in a fraction of the time.

Business Chat is a brand-new experience that brings together data from emails, presentations, documents, and other sources. to assist in writing emails or summarizing chats.
