As a result of attackers manipulating a smart contract function on the cross-chain bridge protocol, Poly Network acknowledged it was the latest DeFi vulnerability victim and said it will temporarily cease services. The company stated the vulnerability targeted 57 crypto assets across 10 blockchains, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Heco, OKx, and other platforms like Metis, in their most recent release.
