The Superior Court of California Asks Stanford-StartX Fund LLC And MedWhat.com For Mediation

San Francisco, CA — May 14th, 2018 — In a recent development to the Stanford-StartX Fund LLC and MedWhat.com, Inc legal lawsuit, the Superior Court of California Judge has made a decision of taking the lawsuit to an Alternative Dispute Resolution and make both parties go through mediation.

The move is aimed to amicably settle the matter.

Stanford-StartX had last week objected to any kind mediation. A copy of lawyer's letter objecting to mediation can be seen here.

Stanford-StartX Fund LLC is Stanford University's venture capital fund. MedWhat.com, Inc., a medical artificial intelligence company participated in the 2013 StartX program and is affiliated with Stanford University. The Stanford-StartX Fund was invested in MedWhat in 2014, 2015, and 2017. On April 9th, 2018Stanford-StartX Fund LLC., had filed a lawsuit against its portfolio company MedWhat.com, Inc.
