Meta’s ‘Following’ Tab on Threads App: How to Use it?

The 'Following' tab on the Threads App will  allow users to see posts from people in chronological order

Instagram's Twitter – now X – competitor Threads is getting two new features. The Meta-owned company is now rolling out a chronological feed and translations option. Along with these major features, the company also releases additional updates "to improve people's experience."

"Threads started rolling out an option for a chronological feed of only people you're following," Mark Zuckerberg posted on his broadcast channel on Instagram. The Meta-owned micro-blogging platform also shows algorithmically recommended posts under the "For you" tab.

So, users must tap the home icon on the bottom left or the Threads logo at the top to switch to the Following tab. You'll need to repeat this process every time you open the app if you want to see the Following tab. If you cannot switch to the Following tab by clicking on the Icon, it's possible that the feature hasn't been rolled out to you yet.

Aside from this, Mark Zuckerberg has recently introduced a new translation feature that enables users to translate posts. According to Forbes, Instagram's head, Adam Mosseri, has also announced plans to add new features such as hashtags, improved search functionality, the ability to edit posts, full desktop mode, and the option to limit who can reply to your posts.

Threads was created as an alternative to Elon Musk's Twitter, now known as X. The app has already amassed over 100 million users, making it a popular platform for sharing content and engaging with others.
