Working together with Pixel Software teams and chipset manufacturers, you will focus on carrier feature development/customization, integration, and performance optimisation of modem non-access stratum (NAS)/upper-layer features on Android devices as a Firmware Engineer in Pixel Testing Engineering. You will be the point of contact for any modem NAS issues arising from certification, field testing, and customers in the region. You will also be in charge of evaluating the function and performance of NAS/upper-layer features for Pixel projects in order for the modem Software to be of high quality.
A bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or comparable practical experience, is required.
Knowledge of C/C++ and embedded RTOS.
Knowledge of 3GPP NAS protocols.
Experience with LTE or 5G NR is required.
