Here are the details of the competitive examination and their brief details which will help students to know more about exams going to be conducted in 2022 are as follows:

  • JEE Main:

 The Joint Entrance Examination(JEE Mains) conducted by the National Test Agency(NTA), the registration forms available at the official website of jeemain.nta.nic.in. The official information says that the exam will be conducted twice in April and May 2022. By obtaining a good score in JEE Main, candidates can secure seats in the top engineering colleges which comprises the institutions like IIT, NIT, GFTI, and others. It is considered to be the toughest exam held in India, the paper for B.E/B.Tech consists of 90 questions divided into three parts of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with 20 MCQs + 10 numerical value questions in which 5 questions are to be attempted. Thus making it 25 questions per section.

It is always recommended to study from NCERT textbooks, it is important for JEE Main preparation other than focusing on reference books. If you focus on strategy and practice, mock test papers will result in productivity. While choosing the books for studying you can prefer the books like Dr. SK Goyal, Amit M Agarwal for Maths Section, RD Sharma Vol I and II books for clearing concepts while HC Verma & OP Tandon for Physics and Chemistry.

  • AKTU :

Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) or UPSEE (UPCET) organizes an entrance test every year, it is a state-level competitive exam for admission into various Undergraduates and Postgraduates courses. After qualifying for this exam, admission can be taken into various government, private, institutions, colleges based out in Uttar Pradesh. The online application will be available from the 1st week of April 2022 while the examination will be conducted in June 2022. The exam comprises objective-type multiple-choice questions. The subjects included in the question paper contain a different section of Numerical Ability and Analytical aptitude, reasoning and logical deduction, English language, General Knowledge, etc., depending on the courses opted for the competitive exam.

  • GATE:

GATE is known as the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, it is one of the toughest exams organized by the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore, and other Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for PG course admission in engineering/science. The GATE is conducted on the behalf of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India, and National Coordination Board (NCB)- GATE. The GATE score can help in the recruitment of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The MCQ questions which comprised in the section includes General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and Subject wise specific section.

What is the role of GATE scores for Higher Studies?

GATE-qualified candidates can get admission into IITs, NITs, GFTIs, IISC, and many other institutes for higher studies. Admission can also be taken into a doctoral program at IIMs while IIT Bombay gives admission to PhD., PGDM, and PGDIE programs. The qualified students can also apply for various jobs which include jobs like a Professor or Asst. Professor in reputed institutes.
