Apple’s Curved Screen HomePod for 2024

A step forward in smart home entertainment with Apple's 2024 curved screen HomePod

Since the debut of the first generation HomePod in 2018, the iPhone manufacturer has released two further iterations of the device in addition to the HomePod Mini. Although there hasn't been a comprehensive reworking of the project, the second-generation product outperformed the original in several areas. However, according to Apple tipster Kosutami, this may soon change when the company unveils a significant revamp with a curved LCD panel.

Although there have been reports regarding the possible update since October, the tipster has since provided further details. She shares photographs of what seems to be the top casing of the device and notes that the next HomePod, codenamed B720, is anticipated to include a curved display panel on top of the speaker. It is anticipated that everything else will stay the same.

Noteworthy is the fact that previously this year, the tipster disclosed dumps revealing identical components. Indeed, Ming-Chi Kuo and Mark Gurman, two Apple experts, have hinted that Apple may be developing a HomePod with a display.

When the purported display in the HomePod finally makes its debut, it will be interesting to observe what applications it could find. Based on the album cover or song, reports to date indicate that Apple may provide customers with a blurry animation. In addition, users could be able to take calls and respond to messages.

There's no information yet on when consumers may anticipate an improved Curved Screen HomePod, apart from the components that were leaked. Naturally, this information should be considered preliminary as manufacturing schedules are subject to last-minute changes, even before Apple formally introduces it.
