Salary: Rs. 45,000 per month

Qualifications: The candidate should possess a Master's Degree in Data Science/Information and Data Management/Computer Science/Computer Application/ IT or a Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Application/Computer Engineering with a diploma or certificate course in Data Science or Information and Data Management with a minimum of 55% marks. The candidate must have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience after a PG degree or five years of experience after a UG degree.

Experiences: The candidate must know how to implement end-to-end analytics or Data Science projects from conceptualization to implementation. The Data Science specialist must have worked in projects using document and text data and sufficient knowledge in NLP, a programming language like Python or R, relational and non-relational database, and BI tools. The candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills with NET/SLET/GATE/Ph.D.

Data Analyst at NIBMG (National Institute of Biomedical Genomics)

Salary: Rs. 34,720 per month

Location: West Bengal

Qualifications: The candidate must have an M. Sc./M. Tech in Bioinformatics or Computer Science from a reputed university

Experiences: The data analyst must have a minimum of two years of experience in genomic or metagenomic data analysis with expertise in Linus commands and in-house script development. There should also be hands-on experience in DNA sequence data analysis in FASTQ files, sufficient knowledge of Python and Linux with proficiency in English and communication skills.

Responsibilities: The data analyst should analyze the DNA and RNA sequence files from massively parallel sequencing platforms and prepare summaries or reports of data analysis.

Project Assistant cum Data Analyst at ICAR-NRCL (Indian Council of Agricultural Research- National Research Centre on Litchi)

Qualifications: The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree from a UGC recognized university in any science background with a minimum of one-year advanced diploma in Computer Application

Data Manager at IFPRI (International Food Policy Research Institute)

Qualifications: The candidate must have a Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Demography, Public Health, Economics, Public Policy, or any other relevant Social Science field

Experiences: It is essential for the data manager to have five years of experience in data analysis and data management after completing the PG degree. There should be sufficient knowledge of statistical analysis, STATA, conducting large surveys, data management software, different data-collection methodologies, staff management, CAPI, CSPro, regression methods, and data visualization tools. The data manager should have excellent communication and English writing skills.

Responsibilities: The data manager needs to support senior research staff in the Poverty, Health, and Nutrition Division (PHND) with efficient data management. The candidate should focus on establishing procedures for centralized management of multiple large datasets, ensuring appropriate data management procedures, supporting compliance with data governance guidelines as well as providing insights to the team of research analysts. The data manager should support responsive and pro-active quantitative analysis with survey data and transfer data summaries to stakeholders. The candidate must use information-management practices to harmonize data collection processes, ensure that the PHN dataset is compliant with IFPRI's data governance guidelines, and establish a centralized system of large datasets while training the research staff simultaneously.
