Google to add conversational AI features to its search engine to improve user experience

Sundar Pichai, the tech giant's CEO, claims that the company intends to include a conversational AI chatbot called "Bard" in its search engine.

Pichai said in an interview that improvements in AI would make it easier for Google to respond to more search queries. Pichai stated, "We are moving fast," referring to the company's most recent AI developments. He mentioned that the tech giant had announced Bard AI and that Workspace had announced features for Google Docs and Gmail that are currently being implemented.

Pichai stated in an interview with The New York Times, "We have more capable models," in response to the product's criticisms. We will overhaul Versifier to a portion of our more competent PaLM models, which will bring more capacities."

The advancement will begin to show up over the following week. In addition, Pichai confirmed that the company would not launch a model with more capabilities before determining its handling capabilities.

The CEO said that the AI tool is at present running on a 'lightweight and proficient form of LaMDA' language model focusing on delivering exchange. Pichai mentioned that Google's cautiousness was the reason Bard's capabilities were limited.
