Gmail Gets Google Calendar Availability Sharing Like Calendly
Published on

Google has added a Calendly-style availability sharing feature to Gmail

Users can now share their availability with others in a Calendly-like format thanks to a new feature that Google has introduced for Gmail. Users no longer need to manually create and share a Google Calendar event to conveniently share their spare time with others. Users only need to click the "Calendar" symbol in the bottom right corner of the Gmail chat view to use the new feature. This will display the user's calendar in a sidebar. Users can then share their availability by dragging and dropping calendar slots into the chat window.

The new tool makes it simpler for users to organize meetings and work with others, which is a great addition to Gmail. Additionally, since users do not need to manually create and share a Google Calendar event, it is a more effective approach to share availability. Offices can now make themselves available to clients or staff without having to send numerous emails back and forth thanks to this function, which is perfect for personal and business email users. The web-based Gmail client already had Google Calendar availability, and the desktop, mobile, and tablet versions also have it.

The "Google Calendar Availability" function that Google has added to Gmail will significantly increase productivity by reducing the time required to schedule meetings using the traditional back-and-forth email format. The addition of the functionality is anticipated to boost productivity for individual and business Gmail users and enable more efficient scheduling between coworkers and clients.
