a. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
b. 7 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
c. 1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages.
d. Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Open Source, Big Data, Machine Learning, and numerical programming frameworks.
While the minimum qualifications are essential, Google also values additional experience and expertise that can enhance your candidacy:
a. Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
b. Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems and with machine learning technologies.
c. Experience with building AI and machine learning solutions, Machine Learning Operation frameworks such as Kubeflow, and leveraging specific machine learning architectures (e.g., deep learning, LSTM, etc.).
d. Understanding of AI Models, Large Language Models, and AI specialized infrastructure, especially as it relates to AI trends and issues within businesses.
e. Understanding of responsible AI practice.
As a Generative AI Specialist at Google Cloud, you will be a key player in helping customers transform their businesses through advanced AI technology. The Google Cloud Platform team develops products that are secure, reliable, and scalable, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications, devices, and hardware.
Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with Product Development and Technical Sales teams to bring Google Cloud AI products to customers and partners. You will serve as a subject matter expert in Generative AI, explaining technical features, helping design architectures, building AI-powered applications, and resolving potential roadblocks.
Provide AI expertise to support the technical relationship with Google’s customers. This includes product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and collaboration with product management to prioritize solutions that impact customer adoption of Google Cloud.
Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure. This is required to implement complete solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
Support developers, creators, and enterprises to leverage Google’s Generative Language APIs. This will help them build their own AI products in the future.
Identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
Strategize surrounding solution code development. This involves collaboration with internal or external developers, users, partners, clients, or stakeholders as needed.

Google offers a competitive compensation package for this full-time position, with a US base salary range of $171,000 to $257,000, plus bonuses, equity, and benefits. The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations, with individual pay determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
