IT Consulting and Staffing is a very people-heavy industry that focuses on solving real-time problems of hiring key personnel for the customers and delivering value to ensure business continuity for the organizations. But focusing on personnel problems, the industry tends to lose the goal of efficiency and value proposition for all the stakeholders involved. Anuj Sehgal has been instrumental in evolving and innovating the relationship-building process as well as creating a robust environment for key stakeholders, customers, consultants or partners, to share ideas and ensure that the hiring process keeps getting better and more inclusive. For example, for the last 3 years, there is an increase in women and minority hiring by 12% to 15% year-on-year. The existence of women in technology is only about 25% of the workforce on average, but the company has been able to increase that number to 44% with their customer base. Since 2016, the company has also trained 1000+ corporate participants under the LevelUp program in the areas of Data Science, DevOps, RPA, Full stack programming, and Cloud computing. Such innovations and investments have helped BayOne Solutions to become one of the leading go-to consulting and staffing partners in North America. The company has been increasing its revenues 300% year-on-year before the pandemic and has been recognized by some prestigious organizations such as INC5000, San Francisco Business Times (SFBT) Fastest growing private companies since 2017. Anuj Sehgal, the Vice President of Strategic Accounts, has been working with BayOne Solutions since 2013 and in the industry since 2004. He plays a key role in scaling up the company’s customer base, leading and building a team of Business Development Executives and Account Managers, ensuring that the company’s cutting-edge processes and tools are in place to execute on plans and focusing on building brand value with the existing and new customers. He started his career with a start-up, back in 2004 in the IT consulting and staffing industry after graduating from the University of West Georgia with an MBA in Marketing and Finance. He realized that the consulting and staffing industry was a fast-paced and evolving beast with new technologies and opportunities coming up almost every year. He continued to work on his craft, his relationships, and his knowledge over the years. This led him in scaling up start-ups to mid-sized and large enterprises. Anuj understood the need to build relationships, build personal brands and provide high value to the customers. He spent a lot of his early career working on the same. This helped him work over the years with some prestigious customers (large and small) from Fortune 10 companies such as Apple, Google, and CISCO to unicorns such as Zoom Video, Pinterest, Palantir, and many more.
