Twitter is getting a CEO by the end of 2023

According to Elon Musk, Twitter will appoint a new CEO “probably towards the end of this year. “According to the New York Post, Musk said during a video conference at the Global Government Summit in Dubai that the platform’s usability is what matters most to him.

When asked when he would select a new Twitter CEO, Musk responded, “I think I need to stabilize the organization and make sure it’s in a financially healthy place”.

“I’m guessing probably toward the end of this year would be good timing to find someone else to run the company. Twitter is still in some ways a startup operating backward”, he claimed.

To build the software engineering engine and to get Twitter to a more stable position, work is necessary. Musk stated earlier this month that the last three months had been “very challenging” since he “had to save Twitter from bankruptcy” in addition to carrying out his responsibilities at Tesla and SpaceX.

Musk acknowledged the difficulties with the microblogging platform on his official Twitter account. During the Global Government Forum in Dubai, Musk stated, “I think I need to stabilise the organisation and basically make sure it’s in a financially sound place and that the product path is clearly laid out. “I think it should be in a secure position by the end of this year, so I’m estimating maybe towards the end of this year should be good time to find someone else to run the company.”

According to Fox Business, Elon Musk has downsized Twitter’s workforce by almost half, launched a new blue membership service for the microblogging platform, and even auctioned off artefacts from the company’s San Francisco offices. In November, he defended Twitter’s layoffs by pointing out that the firm was losing USD 4 million every day.
