Shytoshi Kusama, SHIB's lead developer, shares Shiba Inu's path forward in the ongoing bear market in a recent thread of tweets. For the past few weeks, the condition of all cryptocurrencies including Shiba Inu is not good. Constant price falls brought SHIB to US$0.000009045. According to WhaleStats data, Shiba Inu is now the largest held crypto asset for the top 100 Ethereum whales after USDC, while Ethereum (ETH) retains the number one spot. According to data provided by the blockchain data tracker, the top 100 ETH whales now hold US$423,180,380 worth of Shiba Inu or 15.55% of their holdings. Circle's Stablecoin, USDC, on the other hand, accounts for 18.08%, or US$491,815,225 worth.
While thanking the community for its immense support, the SHIB developer took the time to clear up some misconceptions. He speaks on the essence of "partnerships" for Shiba Inu, saying revenue from outside the space "is actually a good idea."

He also gave some updates on Shibarium. The Shiba Inu community is hyped about the launch of Shibarium because of the several benefits it could bring to the table, including the possibility of delivering monster gains to investors. The Layer-2 solution has been trending on Twitter over the past few days even in the absence of official announcements from the Shiba Inu development team. Kusama dropped an update about Shibarium very recently on Wellys' Discord and confirmed that the Layer-2 solution is coming soon, adding that it is "already in discussion to beef up efforts." Apart from this latest update, the development team is rather silent about the project, including its possible release window.
"Secondly, although the tactic of what people erroneously think are my pet projects (but are actually community driven initiatives) has been ridiculed, I think we can all now see how having revenue outside the crypto space is actually a good idea."
Shytoshi concluded his Twitter thread by saying, "I can't wait to prove to the world what I already know: that Shib is the most powerful token, community, ecosystem, and brand the world has ever known."
