Packable Merges with Highland Transcend

Packable, a U.S. e-commerce firm backed by Carlyle Group Inc (CG. O), said on Thursday that it has agreed to merge with Highland Transcend Partners I Corp (HTPA.N), a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), in a deal that values the combined company at US$1.55 Billion. The deal includes $180 million of private investment in public equity (PIPE) financing led by Fidelity Management & Research Company, with participation from Lugard Road Capital, Luxor Capital, Park West Asset Management, and Morningside. Packable, which operates third-party retailer Pharmapacks, was valued at about US$1.1Billion when Carlyle invested US$250 Million to acquire its stake in November last year.

Okta to get Auth0 for $6.5B

Okta declared to acquire fellow identity management specialist Auth0 for $6.5 billion in an all-stock arrangement. That cost addresses a critical premium, as Auth0 was last valued at $1.92 billion secretly in the wake of bringing $120 million up; that investment was driven by Salesforce Ventures.

Microsoft Acquires ReFirm Labs

Microsoft is very active in Artificial Intelligence acquisitions for providing better customer service in this tech-driven world in June 2021. The UK media scenario moved in February when the media monitoring and PR data set Cision gained Brandwatch, the online consumer intelligence, and social media listening platform, for $450 million in a combined stock and cash deal. Situated in Brighton on the English south coast, Brandwatch deals in social listening that permits brands to find out about buyer sentiment. Cision desires to unite this with its media and PR smarts to give customers a better image of how consumers see their brand.

Cashmere Joins with Media.Monks

S4Capital (SFOR.L), the tech-led, new age/new era digital advertising and marketing services company, announces a merger between Cashmere and Media.Monks, which significantly expands the capabilities of both its content practice in the USA and global cultural strategy. Cashmere is the premier culture and creative marketing agency, founded in Los Angeles in 2003, by Ted Chung and Seung Chung. With over 150 team members, Cashmere specializes in creating authentic, culturally relevant content and campaigns for clients like Google, Instagram, Facebook, BMW, WarnerMedia, Adidas, Netflix, Disney, Amazon, and Apple. In August, Cashmere was appointed as the first-ever "Culture Agency of Record" by Taco Bell.
