Royal Enfield, the maker of the popular Classic 350, Bullet, and other motorcycles in India and abroad had announced its foray into Web 3.0 technology, NFT by partnering up with an Ethereum (ETH) based NFT platform called foundation app. In a release, Royal Enfield said they would launch their NFT collection featuring 10 exclusive winning artwork designs from the last two seasons of their Art of Motorcycling program. All of these NFTs are priced at Rs 15,000 each. The NFTs will be released on October 3.

The adoption of cryptocurrencies in India is expected to fall rapidly in the second half of the year, as new taxation rules drive many away from the industry. The imposition of a 30% capital gains tax on cryptocurrency investments in India in April, followed by a 1% tax deducted at source (TDS) on profits made from crypto in July, has compounded regulatory uncertainty and is set to hit India's position as a top market for cryptocurrencies in Asia.

Seen as the most promising next-generation solar cell, this technology, called perovskite, is exactly what Japanese start-up Enecoat Technologies is trying to develop. When ready, the Kyoto-based firm hopes its product will produce as much power as a regular solar panel of the same size.

In a bid to take away TikTok's rising popularity, YouTube has announced that it will soon be monetizing Shorts with ads. Creators will get 45% of the ad revenue. Not just that, YouTube is also introducing Super Thanks for Shorts, to let viewers show their appreciation for their favorite creators.

Nvidia announced two new next-gen GPUs – RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 – based on the "Ada Lovelace" architecture. The RTX 4090 comes with 24GB of GDDR6X memory and promises two to four times the performance compared to its predecessor. Meanwhile, the RTX 4080 comes in two memory configurations – 12GB GDDR6X and 16GB GDDR6X – promising up to three times faster performance than the RTX 30 series GPUs.
