  • Synternet adds peaq as a publisher on its Data Layer.

  • Developers can leverage Synternet to stream live data from peaq to their DApps.

Layer 1 blockchain, peaq, designed to power the world of decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN) and Machine RWAs, is joining Synternet, a blockchain data infrastructure provider, as a publisher on the latter’s Data Layer. The announcement, made Wednesday, confirms the integration of peaq on Synternet will provide developers with peaq’s on-chain data – from transaction data to dataflows from real-world DApps.

This data will be available as a stream of live data on Synternet. Following the collaboration, developers will be able to build dashboards, advanced analytical tools, AI and machine learning tools using the data from peaq. Notwithstanding, the integration of peaq allows developers to leverage events-based architecture in the ‘Economy of Things’ on peaq network.

Speaking on the integration of peaq as a publisher of Synternet, Jonas Simanavicius, CTO at Synternet, praised the role of peaq in enhancing the adoption of Web 3 into the real world. He further added:

“We are excited to bring builders in the peaq ecosystem a versatile and highly customizable data streaming network for DePIN analytics and event-driven dApps. We are certain that it will open the door to a wide variety of innovative projects and use cases in the Economy of Things on peaq.”

The Economy of Things on peaq includes event-driven applications that respond to specific events with a predefined set of actions. Comprising several DePINs, the Economy of Things on peaq allows builders to innovate and create new event-driven DApps that solve real-world cases. For example, a navigation DApp responding to traffic congestion by rerouting vehicles to alternative paths or a power grid management app engaging extra capacities in peak hours. With peaq as a publisher on Synternet’s Data Layer, developers will have a healthy flow of live data that the DApps can use to solve real-world problems.

“Synternet’s capabilities add a versatile and powerful tool for data streaming for anyone in the ecosystem to leverage,” says Till Wendler, co-founder of peaq. “We are certain the integration will bring a lot of value to DePINs building on peaq and are excited to see the novel applications that it will power.”

Builders on Synternet will also benefit from the customizable stream of peaq’s on-chain data. They can use this data to run analytics, visualize the data, and build these event-driven DApps. Joining as a Publisher will allow peaq to supply its data on Synternet blockchain data infrastructure, enabling Subscribers to access the data.

Finally, subscribers can customize the flow of data to their specific needs. This enables more innovation and the creation of new event-driven DApps that solve specific real-world problems.
