Big brands are transforming NFTs into something more useful, rather than just the novel collectible items they've historically been. This enables brands to utilise NFTs; building their community and giving something back to their consumers. For example, some brands have started 'token gating' to give consumers special or early access to services, products, and experiences.

Following in the footsteps of these big brand maneuvres could help them give something back to their community, build support, and add dimension to their cute cat world.
These big brand companies are offering exclusive experiences via NFTs, including them in their business roadmaps. Macy's, for example, is offering fireworks-themed augmented reality NFTs to the first 10,000 people who sign up to their server via Discord. In doing so they're hoping to build brand community and loyalty.
Meanwhile, Starbucks is creating a series of branded NFTs that provide community membership, exclusive experiences, and perks. This 'token gating' will enable Starbucks to create a more tangible community of people, enabling physical Starbucks events to take place. This will both advertise the company and reinforce FOMO, increasing consumer desire to be part of the inner group of NFT holders.
Cardano (ADA) is a perfect example of how NFT durability can have a positive influence on coin growth. It's recently been announced that Snoop Dogg is due to release an NFT collection on the Cardano blockchain. These NFTs won't be simply novel collectible items, instead, Snoop Dogg is sharing his new music through them in collaboration with Clay Nation. When you join the Clay Nation community, you receive your unique NFT as well as entry to Clay Nation festival, a prime example of 'token gating'.

Here, the Cardano blockchain is providing access to special events and experiences using NFTs as a gateway token and this increased utility is expected to increase Cardano (ADA)'s value.
