Some of the market big boys have been performing well in the last few days as market conditions once again look like they may be about to turn bullish. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP) have all seen decent gains over the last seven days which has led to some positive price predictions for April.
While most people will be focusing on these very popular tokens, we decided to find some other projects that may be a little more unknown but actually have a chance to be some of the bigger gainers in April. We focused on newer projects that have low prices which gives investors a chance to get in on the ground floor and see the biggest ROI possible.
Dogeverse (DOGEVERSE)
Dogecoin20 (DOGE20)
Slothana (SLOTH)
These are the three projects we think could soon be some of the market's biggest gainers, let's get into why.
We have already mentioned how meme coins have exploded in the last year. Well, that all could accumulate in this month, which is the best we have seen since the meme coin market began. April 20th is Doge Day, and traditionally, that means meme coins pump around this time. It's not a coincidence that we are seeing another doge-alternative, Dogeverse (DOGEVERSE), launch at this time.
This dog is quite different from the other Doge dogs though as his name is Cosmo and he is known for his ability to jump between the stars of the crypto universe. He has come to this project to show investors the benefit of being a multi-chain crypto which Dogeverse is. Spanning Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Solana, Avalanche, and Base there has never been a meme coin this diverse.
The presale for this project has just begun and is only a couple of days old but it is already showing big signs it could be huge. It has already passed the $1 million raised point and given how word is only beginning to spread about the token, it's a sure sign this presale could rival Dogecoin20 (DOGE20) when it comes to success.
Readers will be able to draw a lot of similarities with the first two coins we are reviewing in this piece. A good presale isn't always indicative of future success but when the presale reaches its hard cap much faster than expected, well, that's as close as you can get as an indicator of success. Besides also being a meme coin this is the main similarity between Slothana (SLOTH) and Dogecoin20.
The Slothana presale is hardly a couple of weeks old but already it has raised well over $10 million as investors seem to think this is the next Solana millionaire meme coin. If you are looking to find a coin that provides gains in 2024 and you blindly picked any meme coin from the Solana network chances are you would end up with a good choice.
With more and more successful projects coming from Solana it has led investors to flood into new launches. Slothana looks like it may have already been anointed as the next big token. Based on a Sloth who is sick of the 9-5 grind and just wants to pump, we think meme coin investors will love this attitude.
Given the success of Slerf Token (SLERF), another Sloth meme coin from Solana, SLOTH feels like a no-brainer investment. SLERF was such a big gainer that Bloomberg even wrote an article about the success of the token and Solana as the new home for meme coins. So, we expect similar things from Slothana once it launches.
Dogecoin20 (DOGE20) may have already sold out but the incredible pace with which that happened meant that there was still quite some time until its listings began. Luckily that means interested parties can still purchase DOGE20 at its listing price. Given how crazy it's presale was, that could be crucial as it is likely the price will pump instantly after those listings begin.
The presale we are referencing broke all sorts of records when it reached its hard cap of $10 million in less than two weeks(!) as investors immediately fell in love with the meme coin. It begs the question why this meme coin? We have had lots of Dogecoin alternatives before so why is Dogecoin20 the one that looks like it is going to be the one to finally challenge Dogecoin (DOGE)?
Obviously, Dogecoin20 itself is a very good project but the timing also helps as it finally seems like the rest of the meme coin market has evolved to a point where Dogecoin is now outdated. The main factor Dogecoin20 is backing itself on is that proof-of-stake is a better system than proof-of-work in 2024. The reason for this is two-fold.
Staking of course is a huge benefit. Readers will have noticed recently how almost all new successful projects have staking already part of its ecosystem or have plans to introduce it later. Even bigger, however, may be the environmental benefit of proof-of-stake. Dogecoin20 will use over 99% less energy than the original Dogecoin. Going forward this may be crucial to its success.
The crypto market is known for being volatile but one pattern that remains consistent is historical trends always seem to repeat themselves. One of these surrounding the Bitcoin halving event is that the market tends to enjoy a bullish period during the halving event.
We are likely only days away now from the beginning of the event and that is likely why we are seeing Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP) grow. These projects are of course solid investments, but for big gains, we would still recommend the new coins we reviewed above.
All-in-all we are predicting a positive rest of April for the market. Of course, with the halving event now just around the corner, this is no surprise. However, while we expect good months for the bigger projects, we think Dogeverse, Dogecoin20, and Slothana, should see bigger returns on investment.
