A Beginner’s Guide Into Meme Coins With Dogetti, Dogecoin, and Shiba Inu as Examples
Published on

Cryptocurrency is here to stay. Over a span of 14 years, the crypto industry has flourished from a single coin (Bitcoin) to a whole market.

There are now multiple classes of cryptocurrencies, each one serving a unique purpose. Meme coins are just one example of how cryptocurrencies can be completely different from each other.

Meme coins, unlike other cryptocurrencies, do not have a clear use case, but this is changing. There are now meme coins that contribute to charitable initiatives. Floki Inu's donation towards earthquakes in Turkey was one instance where meme coins were particularly helpful.

If you're looking to understand what meme coins are, you can find a comprehensive beginner's guide here using Dogetti (DETI), Dogecoin, and Shiba Inu as examples.

Dogetti: A Meme Coin For The Family

Created in late 2022, Dogetti is a meme coin with a clear purpose: to create generational wealth for its community members.

Its token redistribution system, where 2% of every transaction on the Dogetti network goes toward coin owners in the form of DETI tokens, will offer additional rewards for its users. This grants a steady stream of income to those who invest.

The meme coin is still in its presale, presenting a rare opportunity to earn high returns before the token goes public. Dogetti is in its first stage of funding, having raised $470,268. The coin will move on to the second stage once it raises a total of $500,000.

DogettiDAO, DogettiSwap, and Dogetti NFTs are some of the updates expected over 2023 for a more robust ecosystem.

There is a limited-time promo code, "WISEGUY25," which users can use to earn an additional 25% in DETI tokens.

Shiba Inu: A Friendly Pet That is Now a Meme Coin Favorite

Another strong cryptocurrency within meme coins, Shiba Inu, was created in 2020 and meant to give competition to Dogecoin.

Three years in and now, Shiba Inu has a large community of dog-loving followers. The constantly updated ecosystem has a wide selection of NFTs, regular community initiatives, and an immersive metaverse.

Shiba Inu was one of the many blue-chip cryptocurrencies that peaked in price during the bull run in 2021.

There are various updates to be integrated into Shiba Inu's functionality, including the Shibarium update, an upcoming blockchain network that will be added to the coin.

Dogecoin Up There With The Biggest Bluechip Cryptocurrencies

This iconic dog meme coin was created in 2013, the first of its kind. Designed by software engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer, the meme coin was originally intended as a joke but has now joined the ranks of the largest blue-chip cryptocurrencies.

Dogecoin's price is also larger than Shiba Inu and draws a much larger community thanks to support from Elon Musk, who regularly tweets about the meme coin.
