The crypto exchange Coinbase (COIN) has taken Coinbase One, a zero-fee subscription service, out of beta testing and expanded it beyond the United States to include the United Kingdom, Germany, and Ireland.
Customers receive larger staking rewards and no trading costs for a monthly price of US$29.99, according to a statement released on 18.05.2023. Since 2021, the service has been undergoing beta testing.
According to an email sent by the business to CoinDesk, Coinbase wants to increase the scope of its global presence and has ambitions to provide Coinbase One in 35 nations. This follows CEO Brian Armstrong's declaration last month that Coinbase might think about leaving the United States if the regulatory landscape did not clear up.
For U.S. customers, Coinbase One will provide pre-filled tax return paperwork, access to Messari insights and analytics through a "Pro" account, and a six-month free trial of CoinTracker's personal cryptocurrency portfolio analytics.
"Coinbase One has a presence in 35 countries overall (mostly in Europe), with full availability expected in the remaining nations in the upcoming months," the email said. "We plan to expand to additional markets internationally."
