According to a business lawyer on Wednesday, FTX has given up on trying to relaunch its cryptocurrency exchange and has instead chosen to go through with a liquidation that should fully reimburse consumers. FTX attorney Andy Dietderich stated at a Delaware bankruptcy court hearing that FTX has been in talks with possible buyers and investors for several months, but none of them were prepared to contribute enough capital to allow FTX to rebuild the exchange.
