For the first time, users will be able to collaborate with generative AI in this release. Google is allowing early admittance to Bard, which has been first carried out in US and UK. Over time, Google will make "Bard" available in more languages and countries.
"Bard" can help you become more productive, think faster, and be more curious. You could ask "Bard" for advice on how to meet your goal of reading more books this year, a straightforward explanation of quantum physics, or ideas to get you thinking.
The ChatGPT competitor's wider launch comes as generative AI, which creates text, images, videos, and music based on user prompts, is getting more attention in Silicon Valley.
Similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT and Microsoft's Bing chatbot, "Bard" is built on a large language model (LLM), specifically a lightweight and optimized version of LaMDA. Google claims that as more people use it, newer, more capable models will be added.
Consider LLM to be a prediction engine to comprehend how it functions. So when you give a brief, this tech creates a reaction by choosing, each word in turn, from words that are probably going to come straightaway, as per Google.
"We view "Bard," which is a direct interface to an LLM, as a complement to Google Search. Bard's design makes it simple to use Search to check its responses or look at sources all over the internet. To see query suggestions, click "Google it." Search will open in a new tab so you can look up relevant results and delve deeper. In a blog post, Google said, "We'll also be thoughtfully integrating LLMs into Search in a deeper way – more to come."
Users can easily interact with Google's "Bard" by asking questions and then refining their responses with follow-up questions.
Over time, Google has stated that it will continue to enhance the "Bard" experience by adding features like coding, additional languages, and multimodal experiences. To try out Google's "Bard," Indians will have to wait a little bit longer.
