Users must first set up their environment with VSCode + dev container, Docker, or Python 3.10 or later before they can set up Auto-GPT. This can be done on a Windows, Mac, or Linux PC. After that, the user needs to set up the ChatGPT API by creating a pay-as-you-go account on the OpenAI website. Users will need an API key to connect their Auto-GPT program to the GPT-4 large language model once they have created an account and then the user can begin creating their chatbot by utilizing Auto-GPT once the environment and the ChatGPT API have been set up.
Auto-GPT has its own set of limitations, just like other AI systems. The GitHub page takes note that it's anything but a cleaned application and may not be reasonable for mind-boggling and true business cases.
