Odisha CM launches AI initiative in partnership with Intel highlighting the future AI scope

The Odisha for Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence for Youth initiative was introduced by Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik in collaboration with Intel. The program would be put into action in Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Cuttack during the initial phase.

"Artificial intelligence (AI) has incredible potential to reshape our world and drive progress," Naveen remarked during his speech. The effort will improve the general population's digital literacy and acquaint them with the cutting-edge technologies of the coming generation. Additionally, it will develop an ecosystem that supports research, innovation, and application across industries.

The CM praised the State Electronics & IT Department and Intel India for their partnership and asked all government agencies to benefit from these initiatives and train their employees so they can lead the AI revolution.

He expressed optimism that the project will use AI to boost the economy, alter governance, improve the lives of individuals, and advance society.

The CM urged everyone to embrace this new phase to unleash the youth's boundless potential and create a future in which AI is used as a tool for citizen empowerment and inclusive state progress.

Tusharkanti Behera, the state's minister of electronics and information technology, emphasized the technological measures the state has done that are altering Odisha in several areas and would elevate Odisha to the top echelon of Indian states. The potential and usefulness of AI for the future of Odisha were underlined by Intel India Head Nivruti Rai and IT Secretary Manoj Mishra.
