As it incorporates more GPT-driven features into its products, Microsoft Bing introducing "AI-generated stories" for some user searches on its Bing search engine in New Delhi.
Bing will now create AI-generated stories that give you various options for consuming "bite-sized information through text, images, video, and audio," the company claims.
Tales are available to all Bing users in English, French, Japanese, German, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, and Arabic and are ideal for visual and auditory learners.
The tales are comparable to those you would find on Instagram or Snapchat, two popular social media outlets.
Additionally, the business is updating the "Knowledge Cards" that are displayed on the right side of the Bing search results page.
Using facts, image-based timelines, polls, actions, and related topics, they are intended to assist users in exploring topics that they are interested in.
Using generative AI, the business claimed to have "increased the richness and range of knowledge cards supported by Bing."
The business also fixed several bugs with Bing chat, such as making it simpler for iOS users to copy conversation content from the Bing mobile app.
The Bing mobile app's voice detection is being improved so that messages don't send before users have finished speaking.
According to the Microsoft team, "We are correcting circumstances where Bing search queries would accidentally start a chat with the same inquiry when you scroll up."
