Huawei will release a competitor to ChatGPT AI text reply software. This is a significant contribution from the Chinese IT industry, and it represents a significant advancement in the area of AI. According to the report, Huawei may release this software under the name Pangu Chat, which is developed from its large-scale learning approach. It is also believed that this AI technology will be revealed.
Testing: According to reports, Huawei tested and validated the work of Pangu Chat using a large-scale Pangu cloud model with 100 billion variables. For testing, the organization employed over 2000 Huawei Ascend 910 chipsets for over 2 months of data training capabilities. According to research firms, more than 4000 GPU/TPU cards are utilized in large-scale simulations each year, and the computing cost of large-scale models has reached 960 million yuan in three years.
Pangu Model: It was officially released in 2021, and version 2.0 was released in April 2022. This platform is currently powered by the Natural language processing (NLP) big model, CV large model, and Meteorological model. Specifically, Huawei's Pangu Series AI Large Models fundamental layer consists mostly of NLP large models, CV large models, scientific computing large models, and other learning models. Meanwhile, the upper layer is made up of huge models built by Huawei in collaboration with partners. Pangu is the first Chinese big model with more than 100 billion parameters, while the CV large model has 3 billion parameters.
