We all believed that grocery store clerks, gas station attendants, and other routine jobs would be replaced by AI; however, it turns out that the C-suite is the first to be affected by the Artificial Intelligence revolution. AI is the CEO of NetDragon Websoft, a major Chinese game company, and things appear to be going well so far.
Eudemons Online, Heroes Evolved, and Conquer Online are just a few of the multiplayer games developed by NetDragon Websoft; however, NetDragon Websoft is probably best known for being the current owner of Neopets. In August of last year, NetDragon named Tang Yu, an "AI-powered virtual humanoid robot," as CEO of Fujian NetDragon Websoft. The company claimed that Tang Yu would ensure a "fair workplace for all employees" and increase efficiency, risk management, and decision-making.
We are aware that Fujian NetDragon Websoft's stock has significantly increased since then, but we are unsure exactly how Tang Yu has increased efficiency and fairness. Business Insider reports that NetDragon stock has increased by 10% in the six months since Tang Yu took over, surpassing even the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as a whole.
In an August press release, NetDragon Chairman Dejian Liu stated, "We believe AI is the future of corporate management, and our appointment of Ms. Tang Yu represents our commitment to truly embrace the use of AI to transform the way we operate our business and ultimately drive our future strategic growth."
"We will keep on developing our calculations behind Tang Yu to fabricate an open, intelligent, and profoundly straightforward administration model as we progressively change to a metaverse-based working local area."
It's presumably still too early to say whether each Chief ought to be supplanted by a simulated intelligence master, yet we in all actuality do realize that man-made intelligence is presently fit for thinking in a calculated way, even out-performing human personalities in the round of Tact. They can also come up with complete D&D scenarios on their own and suggest a potential actor to play Revan in a Knights of the Old Republic movie.
But they can also go a little too far, like when Nothing Forever went on a transphobic rant or when an artificially intelligent SpongeBob told everyone about the wild orgy he saw in Mr. Krab's office. Positively, an AI CEO won't need a golden parachute if he makes a mistake.
