IIT Madras Zanzibar is inviting applications for its second batch of students for the academic year 2024-25. The academic courses that are accepting applications are – B.S. in Data Science and AI and the M.Tech in Data Science and AI.
The admission process involves a screening test of the candidates. The screening test for the B.S program is scheduled to be held on June 9, 2024. The last date to apply for the program is April 15, 2024.
The screening test for the M.Tech Program is scheduled to be held on March 31, 2024, and the last date to apply for the program is March 15, 2024.
It is to be noted that IIT Madras Zanzibar became the first IIT to establish its campus abroad in the year 2024. Interested candidates can visit the official website www.iitmz.ac.in
The applicants will have to clear the three-stage selection process, which includes Stage 1 – Assessment of applications, Stage 2- Online screening test, Stage 3 – Online interview.
The first stage involves shortlisting of applications based on their educational qualification. The screening test evaluates the candidates' aptitude and the selected candidates are called for the interview process.
The B.S Program test syllabus includes English and Comprehension, Analytical Ability, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.
B.S in Data Science and AI: The IITM Madras Zanzibar offers a 4-year degree course in Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Data Science and AI. The total number of seats for this undergraduate program is 75.
M.S in Data Science and AI: The IITM Madras Zanzibar offers a 2-year degree course in Master of Technology (M.S) in Data Science and AI. The total number of seats available for this postgraduate program is 25.
The online screening tests will be held across 19 International hubs situated in various regions in India, African continent, Middle East and South Asia.
