Analytics Insight has engaged in an exclusive interview with Srini Vemula who is the founder of Igebra.ai. The team of Igebra.ai brings 25+ years of education and technology experience with a strong belief that "math + data + AI thinking" with RobArt & AiEDGE supported by "i5 SMart Learning", a brain reward learning methodology truly brings great freedom of thinking and joy to kids connecting dots of solutions to world's toughest problems. The company's passion and purpose are to inspire the curiosity and passion in the minds of kids so that they can be leaders and co-founders of future technology startups with a solid foundation of art and intelligence – both natural and artificial.
I am a data and AI professional working for Databricks, a top Silicon Valley cloud, data, and AI startup. I have also worked for many multinationals in the past 20 years including Deutsche Bank, Apple.
I have taught math for 6 years after my engineering and taught data and AI courses for 5 years.
I have seen the IT evolution along with ERPs, data warehouses, Web 1.0, dotcom burst, Web2.0 with API based web services(micro), SAAS companies, cloud with AWS, Google, Azure, and digital transformation with cloud, data, and AI
Now there is an even more interesting convergence of cloud data warehousing with a data lake and forming cloud data lake house segment. Apart from that blockchain applications seeped into decentralized finance.
Our company is {igebra.ai}. It offers a unique futuristic program called math++
It is a Silicon Valley, California-based company with Delaware corporate registration. We are a next-generation EdTech company empowering kids with math data + AI thinking
We have a global live teacher based after school program called "{igebra.Ai math++} with very talented qualified educators from US and India
Data and AI subjects are now treated as computer science 2.0 and there is an emphasis at the college level and with the new education policy of India, it is being adapted at the school level.
Data and AI technologies are also helping EdTech to design and finetune the educational programs for kids and students.
Our USP is igniting curiosity and inspiring confidence among kids with math + data + AI thinking. Most of the EdTech teach math or other programs whereas we teach math++, preparing kids for digital data and the AI world.
Our math++ program includes – interactive and application-based math with an emphasis on data thinking with a deep dive into data and statistics, combined with AI algorithms and their interaction with math.
Students discover that they can solve many world's problems with the power of math++ (math and data along with Ai thinking). Students also learn algorithmic thinking with the RobArt program which combines math and Art with logic.
We are just a year-old company with a lot of groundwork put in. Past one year we have validated our program in India, the US, the Middle East, and Phillippines. Now we are going to reach many networks.
In India and US to showcase how kids build their creativity and problem-solving skills with math++. We are writing blogs, building promo videos, educational events, demos, and community building across cities and towns.
We also going to collaborate with media to reach the market sharing who we are, the diverse culture, and the talented global team we are building to empower kids to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more with math++
For college students, there are many companies doing data + AI programs. We found one practical need for college students. The project, research, or startup-based learning of data and AI. So we are coming up with a complimentary program named {igebra.Ai computing lab} leveraging Databricks community edition with solutions to various vertical domains.
This can empower college students with a practical project/research/startup playground in one platform.
The problem I see is a lack of guidance and focus on the right technologies and tools the industry is using. We need to encourage students to focus on projects, research, startup-based mindset so that they can rise to the occasion and adapt to the rapidly changing technological world.
We all need to inspire confidence and guide the student to see where the world is going. Then students can easily adapt, it is not difficult.
If you ask me in general, they are math++, storytelling skills with data, and design thinking skills.
And if you ask me about technologies then they are data and AI, blockchain, and cloud computing.
