Flipkart's Co-founder, to Launch an AI Start-up that Challenges TCS and Infosys

According to Bloomberg, billionaire Binny Bansal is planning to create an AI-as-a-service firm aimed at a worldwide clientele.

Bansal, who co-founded and later sold the online retail giant Flipkart to Walmart, is said to have collected a team of 15 professionals for his new firm majority are AI scientists.

The core operational hub of the firm will be in Bengaluru, with its headquarters in Singapore. According to the article, there are plans to expand its reach to the United States.

Bansal, an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi alumni, entered the e-commerce market in 2007 when he teamed up with his boyhood buddy, Sachin Bansal.
