Samsung unveiled a new BioActive sensor, which will be an integral part of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 series.
The watches featuring the new BioActive sensor are said to deliver better preventative health experiences, including precise health insights.
The BioActive sensor has three upgrades including enhance the performance of photodiodes, different colored LEDs, and better arrangement of the sensor for more optimal performance.
The new sensor will also enable new health-tracking features such as the advanced glycation end products (AGEs) index, which acts as an indicator of metabolic health and biological aging.
The upgrades on BioActive sensor including the addition of new colored LEDs, are said to enable the accurate measurement of health metrics such as heart rate, sleep quality, and blood pressure.
