Honor introduced the industry's first AI Defocus Eye Protection to help reduce eye strain.

This technology simulates defocus glasses on the smartphone's screen, which is shown to decrease transient myopia by an average of 13 degrees after 25 minutes of reading.

To counter the rise of cybercrimes, Honor has unveiled an AI Deepfake Detection feature. This on-device AI examines frame-by-frame information to identify flaws in videos and images that are imperceptible to the human eye, thus helping to prevent fraud.

The CEO of Honor emphasized the company's focus on human-centric AI, which is designed to empower users by delivering tailored services while protecting user privacy.

Addressing the global increase in myopia cases due to prolonged screen usage, Honor's AI Defocus Eye Protection aims to provide relief from near-sightedness by inducing controlled defocus in the user's peripheral visual field.
